Welcome to the Place Gallery – one of the most reckoned galleries in Melbourne Victoria. Incorporated in 2013 by Trevor Fuller and Michele Fuller, our gallery is where you can find multiple contemporary art work by renownedand buddingartists in Australia.Our gallery is praised by visitors and artists alike for the various exhibitions, shows and other events we conduct.
At Place Gallery, our aim is to publicise stirring and original art and raise awareness among audiences. We promote communication and recognition of talent to help living artists in Melbourne to get appreciation for their work and make sales too! So, if you are someone who loves art or wants to know more about it, we are the place you need to come and visit. Our gallery is open for people from all walks of life.
OUR HISTORY
2012
Trevor Fuller and Michele Fuller both great appreciators and collectors of modern art came up with the idea to open an art gallery in Melbourne, Victoria. They wanted to have a platform wherecreations by new and brilliant could be on display for art lovers and collectors to enjoy.
2013
After an extensive search, our Directors found the perfect place to open the gallery and that is how Place Gallery came to be. Since its launch, we have showcased thousands of exhibitsand helped expand the reach of modern art creations in Melbourne, Victoria.
2014
In just a span of one yearwe showcased great work by budding artists in the city and started making name for ourselves in the art industry. We hosted several exhibitions and also introduced two art rooms.
2018
We started our annual Place Gallery Debut Artist Eventwhich is conductedon the first weekend of July. It is an event that encourages budding artists to showcase their work and get recognition. At the end of the event three artists are given a month long contract with the gallery to display their current or new collection.
